Travertines are sedimentary rocks formed by precipitation of calcite in water courses, springs, thermal springs, etc. It is characterized to the sight by small holes. It is porous and normally acquires good shine when polished. It can be cut to the law or against, resulting in a stratigraphic view or more homogeneous.
